TruckTreats is a mobile menu preview and food ordering app for food trucks in India. TruckTreats allows its users to make a group and individual orders and pick up the order on the go. It targets customers looking for better options to place healthy and quick orders in their busy lifestyles.
Outcome
The app allows users to place both group and individual orders, search for nearby food trucks, and order in advance to reduce wait times. One user provided feedback, stating: ”I appreciate that I can place an order and pick it up on the go. The nutrition chart is also a helpful feature, and it shows that the app is mindful of accessibility considerations.”
What I learned
Throughout the project, I learnt:
Design Process: how to design from the first ideas at the beginning of the project to the hi-fi prototype.
Importance of Usability study: how it influenced the design of the app making it more accessible to users.
Iterate as much as you can: Iterations help to find out what can be done better so that the app is useful and accessible to its users.
